With over 15 years of experience in law, compliance, tax, and government relations, Jess brings deep technical expertise and a forward-thinking approach to tax planning, regulatory strategy, and legislative affairs.

As a key contributor to firmwide tax policy and education, Jess monitors, interprets, and communicates legislative and regulatory developments to ensure clients and colleagues are equipped with clear, actionable insights. She is a dynamic speaker and trusted resource empowering professionals to make informed, future-ready decisions that strengthen customer relationships and institutional resilience. Gloria joined The Bonadio Group in 2006 and is the leader of our Albany Tax team. She specializes in providing tax planning and compliance services to various clients, primarily focusing on income taxation of individuals, commercial businesses, and multi-state issues. Her knowledge crosses multiple industries, concentrating on construction, real estate development, and manufacturing.

Gloria takes pride in philanthropy by offering time and resources to various charities and events throughout the year. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts and community events, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Laura O'Connor

Laura O’Connor has served as CFMA’s Director of Membership since 2020, bringing more than 20 years of experience in membership management to the role. She leads CFMA’s membership strategy with a focus on retention, recruitment, onboarding, and engagement, and oversees the annual renewal process.

With more than 20 years of experience in association membership management, Laura specializes in building communities where professionals feel connected, supported, and equipped to grow. She has introduced impactful initiatives such as New Member Open Houses, the Member Benefit Series, and supported the launch of CFMA’s Behind the Pages book club. Under her leadership, CFMA proudly achieved a milestone of 11,000 members.

Laura also serves as staff co-chair of CFMA’s Membership Committee, Heavy Highway Committee, and Specialty Trade Committee, as well as the Residential Contractors Subcommittee. A graduate of Villanova University with a BBA in Marketing, Laura has dedicated her career to building strong association communities since 2004.
